I was really hoping to see the gestational sac and yolk at least based on what I’ve been reading on this feed, but I was only showing a gestational sac, no yolk, but something very faint. This was heartbreaking, but doctor said it might be too early and scheduled me ..., I saw the baby's heartbeat flickering at 6 wk 5 days, I Did not hear it until my ultrasound 2 weeks later at 8 wk 4 days. I had an u/s at 6 wks 5 days, we saw tge fluttering of the heart and did get to hear it. It was at 125 bpm. The baby just looked like a little fuzzy spot on screen, it was extremely tiny., I'm curious. At my latest ultrasound the technician found the gestational sac and a large yolk sac, both measuring about 7 weeks 4 days, and a fetal pole measuring just about a week behind at roughly 6 weeks 4 days. Unfortunately, the ultrasound technician was unable to detect a heart beat.... I should probably mention that I had a transvaginal ..., As far as i know the heartbeat should be visible by 6.5 weeks on ultrasound. I had a scan at 8.5 weeks after spotting last year and the baby was there but measured 6 weeks and there was no heartbeat, the sonographer said i may have had my dates wrong and the heart just had not quite started yet but i knew i was 8.5 weeks because i knew when i ovulated and we did not make love after that., I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 6 days and there was a sac, yolk sac, and fetal pole, but no heartbeat.
