BA fit only 9 abreast, giving a wider seat than on many other airlines., After being familiar with the similar 1+2+1 layout of the 777-300 four-class version, I was disappointed to find that the seat on the 787-9 is similar but smaller; the difference really made me feel claustrophobic., The Delta Airlines Boeing 777-200ER features 291 seats in a 3 cabin configuration. Economy has 219 seats in a 3-3-3 config; Premium economy has 36 seats in a 3-3-3 config; Business class has 37 seats in a 1-2-1 config; this is pretty standard for these aircraft.
