I actually recently sold mine and I live about 5-7 minutes from you ironically. It is a great scanner for what you are looking to do. I had no need for it since I have 2 SDS200s and an SDS100. It never gave me any problems with reception. I loaded the CLMRN into it and just locked out everything except Troop I. Just a suggestion Manny

I didn't say that it did. Just that the audio would hopefully be louder. That doesn't have any impact on reception of the system though. Even among the systems there are discrepancies. Troop L is quieter than Troop A for example.
