Factory reset nook tablet

I would look to remove it all and go back to the nook factory settings. I have tried the 8 reboot method and it doesnt work. It just boots me to cwm based recovery. doing a factory reset there just resets me back to android again. ia slo tried installing the acclaim update and it wouldnt work either. maybe i need a new micro sd card. please help!
