Outlook emails stuck in outbox

Some emails are being directed to outbox. It does not allow me to edit anywhere else. It says they are being edited in another window. Which is incorrect. Happens with random email addresses, with and without attachments. Please help me figure out how to edit the email to officially send or avoid outbox.
