Simplisafe indoor camera red light

I keep the status lights on my cameras on and every so often one of them starts blinking blue and does not stop. However, when I go into settings and turn the status light off, save settings, then turn the status light back on the light is solid blue again. Is this behavior normal?

I finally got around to installing my camera today and I am having issues with it. I went through the setup with no issues. I have a solid blue light on the camera, and I can see it is connected through my router app. The issue is my Simplisafe app says that the camera is disconnected. Any ideas?
